Relationship are maintained well so far between BPJS Kesehatan (Health Insurance) with University of Lambung Mangkurat poured in a memorandum of understanding signed by the Head of BPJS, Nyoman Wiwi and Rector of ULM Prof. Dr. H. Sutarto Hadi, M.Si., M.Sc in the conference room of the Rector, Friday (06/10/2017). This activity was attended by Head of Bureau, Head of Sub-division, and employees of BPJS Kesehatan. This Memorandum of Understanding contains the expansion of membership of Health Insurance program of Healthy Indonesia Card (JKN-KIS) at University of Lambung Mangkurat. The future academicians are expected to be registered as BPJS Health participants. The JKN-KIS program is a government program to ensure the health of the people using healthy Indonesian cards. In cooperation with ULM, BPJS expects the health insurance to all academic community so that the education process will not be obstructed. The Rector conveyed that this cooperation should be followed up by both parties, many of whom benefit from this cooperation, especially the students, meanwhile for employees in ULM environment will be recorded to participate in BPJS participants to reduce the burden of health cost.
