Two Dutch Students Learn Tropical Forest at ULM

1Banjarmasin – ULM Rectorate, Lambung Mangkurat University, through the Office of International Affairs ULM received 2 foreign students with Dutch citizenship (Monday, May 14, 2018). These two students are from Van Hall Larenstein, University of Applied Sciences, Netherland.
 
Their arrival was welcomed by the Rector of ULM, Prof. Sutarto Hadi, Deputy Rector IV ULM, Prof. Yudi Firmanul Arifin and Director of the ULM International Affairs Office, Dr. Arief Budiman, Ph.D. The purpose of the arrival of these two Dutch students to ULM is to apprentice or learn about forest and environmental management in Kalimantan. Besides learning about sustainable forest and environment, both students are also introduced to South Kalimantan culture. This internship program will last for 3 months. The first 4 days they will stay in Banjarmasin, then next will do activity in KPH Kapuas. (IO ULM)
