The 60th ULM Anniversary Series (09/23/2018) followed by a healthy walk followed by thousands of participants from the academics of the ULM and the public from various backgrounds. The Healthy Walk activity was opened by the South Kalimantan Governor H. Sahbirin Noor, S. Sos., MH accompanied by the Rector of ULM Prof. Dr. H.Sutarto Hadi, M.Si., M.Sc. Many door prize were given in this time, including refrigerators, washing machines, laptops and various other prizes. This year, the grand prize was an Umrah package for 3 lucky people. In addition to healthy walk, this activity also featured art performances from student activity units in ULM and booths to conduct blood donations. The ULM’s Rector in his speech thanked all parties involved for their contribution to participate in the successful implementation of the healthy walk to enliven the 60th ULM Anniversary.

Sahbirin Noor, S.Sos., MH said that ULM for 60 years had printed many generations that had colored the development in South Kalimantan. The big role of ULM in development in South Kalimantan can be seen from the alumni of ULM who work in each South Kalimantan government office. The Governor added that the withdrawal of a region and nation depends on how education is, therefore the South Kalimantan Provincial Government fully supports the ideals of ULM to achieve “A” accreditation.
