ULM IO – Wednesday, August 2, 2017, the University of Lambung Mangkurat received a visit from the Asia Competitiveness Institute Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, National University of Singapore (NUS). The arrival of the ACI team is in order to present the Provincial Assessment Analysis of Provinces in Indonesia in the form of preliminary or drat findings from the results of the 2016 study. The objectives of the ACI team’s research are to follow the conditions of competitiveness across provinces in Indonesia to help formulate appropriate development strategies; Disseminate findings to the international and national communities, and enhance collaboration with strategic partners to enhance collaboration with strategic partners to develop Indonesia’s competitiveness; and stimulate a healthy competition between Asia, especially Indonesia.
The meeting was attended by academicians of Lambung Mangkurat University and led directly by the director of ULM’s International Affairs Office, Arief Budiman, SE., MMktg., Ph.D. The event was officially opened by the Vice Rector IV, Prof. Dr. Ir. H. Yudi Firmanul Arifin, M.Sc. During the event, there were many constructive suggestions for the perfection of provincial competitiveness in Indonesia, so that the results obtained became a benchmark for the development of the welfare of Indonesian communities in all fields.
