In his speech the ULM’s Rector said, as a city of the Thousand Rivers, the floating market is one of the leading destinations in Banjarmasin and in South Kalimantan. With this program, ULM can work together with the government to improve the quality of the floating market. In addition, ULM has also collaborated with Indonesian Proboscis Monkey Sanctuary in preserving the iconic animal in South Kalimantan. So, with the development of these destinations and cultures, this will result in an increase in tourists visiting South Kalimantan. (IO-ULM)
